TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5

The TAKEMIKADUCHI TYPE-00R Ver.1.5 rejoins Kotobukiya's model kit lineup, bringing to life the Japanese Imperial Royal Guard's Type-00 Tactical Surface Fighter from the popular game Muv-Luv Alternative. This special unit is instantly recognizable by its characteristic purple color, signifying its exclusive use by the Shogun. The model kit features pre-painted parts, allowing for a stunning recreation of the TSF simply through assembly, with cameras and illuminated sections crafted from clear parts for added realism.

This Ver.1.5 upgrade introduces significant enhancements for improved articulation and posing. The hip joints have been redesigned with a multi-axis joint, replacing the original ball joint for enhanced durability and a wider range of movement. A roll joint in the thighs further accommodates expressive poses, and the moveable armor on the back of the knees has been refined for smoother knee articulation. Elbow joints are also redesigned, and the Mount Pylons are now articulated, enabling dynamic rear-attack poses with up to four assault cannons. Additionally, a new rotating joint between the chest and waist expands posing possibilities even further.

The weaponry has also received an overhaul, with both the Type-87 Assault Cannon and Type-74 PB Blade being fully redesigned. The Assault Cannon includes two removable magazines that can be assembled into a Support Assault Cannon.
