An abandoned theater is standing on the outskirts of town. When night falls in that space where none should be, the sounds of grinding gears and whispers from deep within the walls fill the room.

Legends tell of a monster lurking behind the curtain. A ventriloquist's doll that can open its mouth and speak of its own accord. The moment its face splits open, a twisted play begins. You've got the leading role, one from which you can't escape.

A giant gate carved into the shape of a clown's visage. When it opens, a red curtain hangs down, and a floor lamp ignites. The stage, projector, flickering spotlight, and squirming shadows quietly wait for the performers to make their entrance.

The clicking of gears. From between the walls a low, wet whisper echoes. "Can you hear me?"

Was that the old man in the center of the stage? Or is there another mouth hidden in the shadows?

By moving the ventriloquist doll’s ears, the gears will rotate, and the eyes and mouth will move. When the face is opened, an uncanny stage is revealed. By rotating the gears, features built into the stage will also move. The eye transforms into a projector that shows the past, while the red curtain, floor lights, and the layers of shadows come together to form an eerie theater.

It’s time for your shadow to tread the stage. “Now, the curtain’s raised.”
