This semi-transparent clear blue is ideal for adding realistic effects such as airplane wing lights or coloring other clear parts with a striking, translucent blue hue. Its fast-drying formula ensures efficient workflow for your projects.
Mr. Color paints are versatile and suitable for both hand brushing and airbrushing applications. For optimal results when brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended. When airbrushing, 2 to 3 coats are suggested after thinning.
To thin this paint, use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Rapid Thinner, or Mr. Leveling Thinner. The recommended thinning ratio for airbrushing is 1 part paint to 1 to 2 parts thinner. For hand brushing, a ratio of 1 part paint to 0.8 to 1 part thinner is advised. Mr. Leveling Thinner is particularly useful as it contains a retarder, promoting a flatter and glossier surface. Gloss levels can be customized by mixing in Mr. Color Flat Base (C-30); approximately 5 to 10% for a semi-gloss or 10 to 20% for a matte finish.
