Formulated for excellent coverage and adhesion, Mr. Color Sail Color is a versatile choice for both brush painting and airbrushing. Its fast-drying properties enhance work efficiency, allowing you to build layers and complete your projects with greater speed. For optimal results, thin Mr. Color 45 with Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Rapid Thinner. When hand brushing, a paint to thinner ratio of 1:0.8 to 1:1 is recommended. For airbrushing, a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 (paint to thinner) will provide a smooth application. Typically, 1 to 2 coats are recommended for brush painting, while 2 to 3 coats are ideal for airbrushing. The semi-gloss finish can be further adjusted by mixing in Mr. Color Flat Base if a more matte appearance is desired.
