Its formulation provides a faster drying speed and a stronger paint film compared to water-based hobby colors, ensuring a smooth and hard finish.
Whether you prefer brush painting or airbrushing, Mr. Color 319 offers excellent coverage. For brush application, 1 to 2 coats are recommended, while airbrushing typically requires 2 to 3 coats for optimal results. Always allow a few hours for each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
To achieve the best airbrushing performance and for cleaning your tools, use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Levelling Thinner, or Mr. Rapid Thinner. A thinning ratio of approximately 1 part paint to 1-2 parts thinner is recommended for airbrushing, depending on your desired paint viscosity. You can also fine-tune the gloss level by mixing in Mr. Hobby C-30 Flat Base; adding 5-10% will maintain a semi-gloss finish, while 10-20% will achieve a matt finish.
