Description
The BANDAI HOBBY MG RGM-79 (G) GM, with barcode/UPC 4573102631466, is a 1/100 scale Master Grade (MG) model kit of the RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type from the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team anime series. This highly detailed Gunpla kit allows builders to recreate the ground-configured mobile suit, designed for non-zero gravity combat and resistance to harsh Earth climates.
Key features of this model kit include a fully poseable inner frame and articulated joints, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. The head swivels on a ball-and-socket joint, and the torso offers limited front and back tilt. Both the elbows and knees are double-jointed, and the manipulators are poseable with 3+1+1 articulation on each finger. The kit also features opening cockpit and chest panels to reveal intricate mechanical details. The shield can be rearranged into an offense mode, and the beam sabers can be stored in the thigh units.
The kit comes with a comprehensive array of weaponry and accessories:
- RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type mobile suit pieces
- 100mm Machine Gun with a folding stock and swiveling foregrip
- Beam Rifle with a swiveling foregrip
- Rocket Launcher with optional removable projectiles and the ability to separate into components for storage
- Shield
- 2 Beam Sabers
- Poseable manipulators (fists, open-palm, right-angled holding hand)
- 1/100 E.F.S.F. Pilot figurine (sitting)
- 1/100 E.F.S.F. Pilot figurine (standing)

This Master Grade kit is ideal for both newcomers and seasoned Gunpla builders who appreciate intricate details and high articulation. No glue is required for assembly, though a hobby nipper is recommended to remove parts from the runners. For enhanced results, panel-lining and painting with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints, along with a topcoat, are suggested.
