The Eclipse Gundam is a customized M1 Astray, ingeniously developed by ORB, incorporating technology "borrowed" from Kira Yamato's Freedom Gundam. It was officially mass-produced as the Murasame in "Gundam SEED Destiny" and uniquely combines the technological advancements of the Earth, Orb, and ZAFT forces. This design allows it to utilize the versatile Striker, Silhouette, and Wizard packs, offering extensive customization possibilities. The model kit itself faithfully utilizes portions from the MG Freedom 2.0, including its distinctive tri-color motif, ensuring a familiar yet innovative build experience.

This Master Grade kit boasts a completely new mold, designed with accurate proportions that allow for full posability in both its Mobile Suit and unique flight/Mobile Armor modes. The transformation mechanism is complex yet well-engineered, ensuring a solid and impressive display. Builders will appreciate the snap-fit assembly, requiring no glue for construction.
