1/350 IJN LIGHT CRUISER AGANO

This 1/350 scale model captures the sleek lines and specialized design of the Agano, the lead ship of her class and a vital flagship for the Imperial Japanese Navy’s destroyer squadrons. Built for speed and striking power, the Agano combined high-velocity 152mm guns with the devastating Long Lance oxygen torpedoes. This kit specifically depicts the vessel as she appeared in early 1943 while serving as the flagship of the 10th Squadron, 3rd Fleet.

Hasegawa has engineered this kit with 407 parts to ensure a high level of historical accuracy. To distinguish the Agano from other ships in its class, this release includes 48 newly molded plastic components. These dedicated parts accurately recreate the ship’s unique funnel, aircraft deck, bridge sections, and searchlight tower. Detail-oriented builders will appreciate the inclusion of the Type 1 Type 2 No. 11 catapult and the specific torpedo tubes without shields, which were characteristic of the Agano’s early-war configuration.
