The Aqueous Hobby Color line is renowned for its safety and ease of use. It provides a glossy texture and excellent leveling qualities, ensuring a smooth, professional finish on your models. Brushes can be easily cleaned with water before the paint dries, and the mild solvent content makes for a pleasant painting experience.
For brush painting, this paint can often be used straight from the pot, typically requiring 1 to 2 coats for opaque coverage. When using an airbrush, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111) for optimal flow and a consistent spray, generally applying 2 to 3 coats. The gloss level can be customized by adding Mr. Hobby H-40 Flat Base; approximately 5% will achieve a matt finish, while 5 to 10% creates a semi-gloss effect.
