Mr. Metal Color Aluminium from GSI Creos (Mr. Hobby) delivers an authentic, brilliant metallic finish to your models. This specialized paint is formulated to replicate the gleam of real metal, offering an outstanding brightness and reflectivity that sets it apart from ordinary paints.

Achieve stunning metallic effects simply by polishing the dried paint surface with a soft cloth or tissue. The level of polishing allows for varied finishes, from a subtle shine with light buffing to a strong, high-gloss effect with more vigorous polishing, or even a matte appearance if left unpolished.

This solvent-based acrylic lacquer paint is ready to use directly from the jar, requiring no thinning. It dries quickly, typically within 5 minutes, allowing you to proceed with polishing and finishing your project without long waits. For an even deeper and richer metallic appearance, it is recommended to apply this paint over a black or dark-colored base coat.

Mr. Metal Color is compatible with a wide range of modeling surfaces, including plastic, metal, and resin, making it a versatile choice for various scale models such as cars, airplanes, tanks, and figures.

Please note that Mr. Metal Color is distinct from standard Mr. Color paints and cannot be revived with Mr. Color's dedicated thinner. It is also not recommended to mix this paint with other Mr. Color series, Aqueous Hobby Color, or Acrysion paints. When applying a topcoat, use a water-based series, as Mr. Super Clear can dull the metallic effect. A suitable topcoat will help prevent oxidation and ensure a durable finish.
