For optimal results, Mr. Color paints require thinning with Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Levelling Thinner, or Mr. Rapid Thinner. When brush painting, a thinning ratio of 1 part paint to 0.8-1.0 parts thinner is recommended for 1 to 2 coats. For airbrushing, thin the paint to a ratio of 1 part paint to 1-2 parts thinner, applying 2 to 3 coats for the best finish. The gloss level of Mr. Color paints can also be adjusted by adding Mr. Flat Base.
