Mr. Color paints are highly regarded by modelers globally for their outstanding quality and superior finish. This paint dries to a notably smoother and harder film compared to Aqueous Hobby Color, providing excellent durability and a professional look. It is suitable for diverse modeling subjects, including military vehicles, aircraft, automobiles, and robotic figures.
For optimal application, Mr. Color paints require Mr. Thinner for both thinning and cleaning brushes or airbrushes. When airbrushing, a thinning ratio of 1 part Mr. Color to 1-2 parts Mr. Thinner is recommended, depending on desired viscosity. For brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are typically sufficient, while airbrushing may require 2 to 3 coats for full coverage. The gloss level can be customized by mixing in Mr. Color C-30 Flat Base; approximately 5-10% will yield a semi-gloss finish, and 10-20% will achieve a matt finish.
