Aqueous Hobby Color is celebrated for its user-friendly nature, making it a favorite among hobbyists. It's safe and easy to work with, allowing for dilution with water to achieve your desired consistency. Cleanup is also a breeze; simply rinse your brushes with water immediately after use.
Featuring a mild solvent, this paint provides a smooth, glossy finish with excellent self-leveling properties, ensuring a professional look for your models. For those who prefer a different sheen, the gloss level can be easily adjusted by mixing in GSI Creos' H-40 Flat Base, with approximately 5% yielding a matt finish and 5 to 10% creating a semi-gloss effect.
For airbrushing applications, it is recommended to dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111). When brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are generally sufficient, while airbrushing typically requires 2 to 3 coats for optimal coverage.
