This high-quality, water-based acrylic paint delivers an exceptional glossy texture and superb leveling qualities, ensuring a smooth and professional-looking coated film on your projects. The primary purple hue offers a striking color for a wide range of applications.
Aqueous Hobby Color is renowned for its user-friendliness and safety, making it a favorite among hobbyists. Its mild solvent content contributes to a pleasant painting experience. This paint dries quickly, allowing for efficient layering and detailing, which significantly improves workflow.
Whether you prefer brush painting or airbrushing, this versatile paint performs reliably. For brush painting, dilution is generally not required, and 1 to 2 coats are typically recommended. When using an airbrush, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% of Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111) for optimal results, applying 2 to 3 coats. Brushes can be easily cleaned with water before the paint dries.
The excellent gloss level achieved with this paint can be customized to suit your needs. By mixing in approximately 5% of H-40 Flat Base, you can convert the gloss color to a matt finish, or use 5 to 10% for a semi-gloss effect.
