Formulated for safety and user-friendliness, Aqueous Hobby Color features a mild odor due to its reduced organic solvent content, allowing for comfortable painting in your home or workshop. The paint boasts excellent leveling qualities, ensuring a consistently smooth coating film that enhances the overall appearance of your models. After drying, the paint becomes water-resistant, providing a durable finish.
This versatile paint is suitable for both brush painting and airbrushing. For brush application, it generally requires no dilution, with 1 to 2 coats recommended for optimal results. When airbrushing, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111) for best performance, applying 2 to 3 thin coats. While tap water can be used for dilution, distilled water is recommended to maintain paint integrity.
Cleaning up is simple; brushes and tools can be washed with water before the paint dries. The paint's raw material design was revised in 2019, significantly improving both performance and safety, alongside an enhanced drying speed.
