[KG-28] 1/700 IJN Battleship Kongo 1941 Full Hull

Capture the power of the Imperial Japanese Navy's legendary fast battleship with this precision 1/700 scale model of the Kongo. This kit represents the vessel as she appeared in 1941, featuring the iconic pagoda mast and the extensive modernizations that transformed her from a battlecruiser into a formidable fast battleship at the start of the Pacific War.

This full hull edition allows for a complete representation of the ship, including the underwater section, rudders, and four-shaft propulsion system. A major highlight of this release is the inclusion of highly detailed 25mm machine guns featuring a two-piece construction. By separating the gun barrel from the base, the kit allows for easier painting and a more realistic finish without the need for complex masking.

The deck is meticulously detailed with pre-molded canvas blast bags on the main 35.6cm gun barrels, finely rendered portholes, and a degaussing cable molded onto the hull.
