Description
Command the seas with the Fujimi 1/350 JMSDF DDH Hyuga, an intricately detailed plastic model kit of Japan's formidable helicopter destroyer. This kit allows enthusiasts to construct a faithful replica of the DDH-181 Hyuga, the lead ship of its class, which entered service with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force on March 18, 2009.
The Hyuga class is renowned for its role as an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) task force leader, capable of operating a complement of 6-8 ASW helicopters, such as the SH-60K Sea Hawk. The vessel is also equipped with a potent defensive and offensive array, including a 16-cell Mk-41 Vertical Launching System (VLS), two 20mm Phalanx Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS), and two triple 324mm torpedo tubes. This full-hull model features well-molded parts with accurate details, capturing the numerous venting locations and auxiliary decks of the actual ship.
Included in the kit:
- Multiple plastic sprues for ship components
- Clear plastic parts for windows and optical elements
- Photo-etched fret for enhanced fine details
- Waterslide decal sheet for authentic markings
- Comprehensive assembly manual with painting guide
- Display stand for showcasing your completed model
