[TOKU-107] 1/700 IJN Light Cruiser Noshiro

Recreate the final form of the Agano class light cruiser Noshiro with this 1/700 scale waterline model kit. Built at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal, the Noshiro served as a modern flagship for destroyer flotillas and saw significant action throughout the Pacific theater. This kit captures the vessel as it appeared during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944, featuring the reinforced anti aircraft armament and radar equipment added late in the war.

The model utilizes Fujimi's specialized molds to deliver crisp details across the hull and superstructure. Builders can choose between standard one piece parts or high precision two piece components for the Type 96 25mm machine guns, allowing for a greater level of accuracy. The set includes the No. 21, No. 22, and No. 13 radars that were essential to the ship's operations during its final missions.

As a waterline series model, this kit is designed without the lower hull, allowing it to sit perfectly on flat surfaces for realistic ocean displays. The parts are molded in grey and gunmetal plastic to provide a solid base for painting and weathering.
