[TOKU-94] 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Hiyo 1944

This 1/700 scale waterline model captures the IJN Hiyo as she appeared in 1944 during the critical late-war period. Originally laid down as the luxury ocean liner Izumo Maru, the Hiyo was requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy and converted into a formidable aircraft carrier. This kit meticulously recreates the unique silhouette resulting from that conversion, featuring the signature island-style bridge integrated with a large funnel tilted outward at a 26-degree angle to keep exhaust gases away from the flight deck.

The kit is engineered with sharp, precise molding that highlights the intricate details of the ship's anti-aircraft suite and flight deck. Modelers will find a highly detailed bridge structure and an integrated foldable antenna mast that can be depicted in its operational position.
