[TOKU-023] 1/700 IJN Battleship Musashi 1942

Recreate the legendary Yamato-class battleship Musashi as it appeared during its commissioning in 1942. This 1/700 scale waterline model captures the vessel in its early-war configuration, featuring the original four secondary gun turrets before later anti-aircraft modifications. The kit is part of the Fujimi Special Series, known for its detailed molding and historical accuracy, making it a centerpiece for any Imperial Japanese Navy collection.

The model represents the ship as it looked around October 1942, shortly after its formal entry into service. Notable details include the Type 21 radar mounted on the 15-meter rangefinder and a hull design that features the numerous open portholes typical of the period.
