[FI No.24] Biology Edition Crayfish (Red)

This highly detailed model kit brings the Lord of the Waterside to life with a completely new mold designed for realism and ease of assembly. Part of the Fujimi Free Investigation series, this non scale representation of the American Crayfish (Procambarus clarkii) captures the intricate anatomy of the species in a vibrant red finish. The kit utilizes a snap fit design, allowing for a complete build without the need for adhesives, while the parts are pre colored in five distinct shades to eliminate the necessity of painting.

The engineering focuses on both anatomical accuracy and dynamic movement. The head and chest section is produced as a single piece using slide mold technology, ensuring a high level of detail while simplifying the construction process. The eyes are molded as separate parts with a glossy texture to provide a lifelike appearance.

Multiple points of articulation allow for a variety of natural poses. The large front claws feature movable joints that enable a realistic pinching action, and the second through fifth thoracic legs are attached with ball joints for a wide range of motion. The abdominal limbs are individual parts that can be positioned to mimic the swimming or crawling movements of a live specimen. Additionally, the tail fan can spread horizontally, and the entire abdomen can be curled into a defensive rounded posture.
