As an injection-plastic kit, the SA-16D Khanjar is built around the versatile Frame Architect Renewal Version pre-assembled base frame, a core component of the Frame Arms series that allows for extensive customization. Builders should note that the Frame Architect part of the kit does not include head or toe components, which are integrated into the main model's unique design. Its sleek form and bold color scheme give the Khanjar a fantastically futuristic appearance.

The SA-16D Khanjar boasts a high level of poseability, thanks to its approximately 25 points of articulation, allowing for dynamic display options. Its armor and weaponry are unique, yet all parts are fully interchangeable with other Frame Arms units and compatible with Kotobukiya's M.S.G.
