Dark Magician Girl joins the Kotobukiya plastic model kit lineup as part of the Cross Frame Girl series, blending the iconic aesthetic of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters mage with the advanced engineering of the Frame Arms Girl line. This kit was developed under the supervision of Tsukuru Shirahige, the sculptor behind the original 2011 PVC figure, ensuring that the character proportions remain faithful to the anime while introducing a high level of articulation through modern CAD design.

The model is designed for ease of assembly with multi-colored parts and pre-printed face plates, meaning no paint or glue is required to achieve a high-quality finish. As a unique feature of the Cross Frame Girl series, this kit is partially compatible with other Kotobukiya series like Frame Arms Girl and M.S.G (Modeling Support Goods), thanks to the standardized 3mm connection points and PVC wrist joints. This allows for extensive customization and the ability to equip various armor and weapon sets from across the Kotobukiya universe.

Collectors can recreate a wide range of dynamic poses and classic scenes using the included accessories. The kit features multiple facial expressions and interchangeable hair parts, along with two different hats to accommodate various display angles. The signature rod weapon and the Magician's Formula spellbook are both included, with the book capable of being displayed in both open and closed states.
