Description
The MG RGZ-91Re Gz is a 1/100 scale Master Grade injection-plastic model kit manufactured by BANDAI HOBBY. It depicts the RGZ-91 Re-GZ Mobile Suit from the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" series. The Re-GZ, short for "REfined Gundam Zeta," is a prototype transformable general-purpose mobile suit developed by Anaheim Electronics. It was designed to replicate the abilities of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam with a more cost-effective transformation, utilizing a unique Back Weapon System (BWS) for flight. This mobile suit was notably piloted by Amuro Ray and later by Kayra Su during the Second Neo Zeon War.
Key features of this model kit include its snap-assembly construction, meaning no glue is required for assembly, and parts are molded in color. The kit boasts extensive internal detail and is fully poseable at all joints, with double-jointed knees and elbows for a wide range of motion. The manipulators feature a ball-and-socket joint with a poseable thumb and swappable index-to-pinky finger parts, allowing for various weapon-holding poses. A significant feature is its ability to transform into Waverider mode by connecting with the Back Weapon System. The cockpit can also be optionally flipped up or removed to reveal a pilot figurine.
