HG 1/100 #05 Gundam Astraea

The HG 1/100 Gundam Astraea brings to life the iconic mobile suit from the Mobile Suit Gundam 00P side story, offering modelers a detailed and highly articulated representation of this pivotal 2nd generation Gundam. This kit captures the Astraea's distinctive design and its role as a testbed for future Gundam development.

Upon completion, the Gundam Astraea is fully poseable, thanks to its polycap joints, allowing for a wide range of dynamic displays. New features include shoulder joints that extend outward, enabling dramatic action poses, and axial cover parts in the waist for recreating off-center stances. The kit is molded in color, with sharp mechanical details visible on the GN beam rifle, within the inner workings of the GN launcher, and beneath the removable top covers of the shoulder pads.

This model kit requires no glue for assembly, making it accessible for builders, though a hobby nipper is recommended for removing parts from the runners. The colored plastic means little to no paint is required to achieve its intended appearance.
