AQUEOUS HOBBY COLOR - H3 GLOSS RED (PRIMARY) by GSI Creos is a highly user-friendly, water-based acrylic paint, perfect for bringing vibrant life to your scale models and hobby projects. This primary gloss red delivers an exceptional, smooth finish, making it a favorite among both beginners and experienced modelers.

Crafted with a mild solvent, this paint offers a very safe and low-odor experience. It boasts excellent leveling qualities, ensuring a consistently smooth coated film and a brilliant, glossy texture on your models. The outstanding gloss level achieved with this paint is a standout feature.

Flexibility in application is key; this paint can be easily diluted with water (distilled water is recommended for best results) and brushes are simple to clean with water before the paint dries. For brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are generally recommended, and dilution is often not necessary. When using an airbrush, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111) for optimal results, with 2 to 3 coats typically recommended. You can also customize the finish by adding H-40 Flat Base, using approximately 5% for a matt finish or 5 to 10% for a semi-gloss effect.

This versatile paint adheres well to plastic, resin, and metal model surfaces, providing excellent coverage and durability. Colors can be mixed to create an endless array of custom shades, expanding your creative possibilities. Please note that it is not recommended for use on ABS resin parts, as it may cause brittleness or cracks.
